New Immuzikation Blends & Remixes

It looks like Immuzikation is back from his self-imposed internet time out and I think we are all happy about his return. I'm sure yall already picked up his previous songs that signaled his triumphant return. All the tracks are spectacular and I'm including them below for all you stragglers. The track that has me posting right now though is his new Santogold and Treasure Fingers blend. I already told you it has Santogold and Treasure Fingers so I don't really know what else to say to make you wanna listen to this track. If it helps to assuage any doubts you may still have, I assure you the song super funky fresh.

Lil' Wayne - Lollipop Remixes

This blog is not big on posting tracks that have already made their rounds on other blogs. Posting a track after its already been "big-upped" by 15 other blogs is like having sex with the high school slut after she already finished with the debate team. No bueno. However, that rule doesn't apply to these Lollipop remixes that have blazed across the internets the last 2 days. These remixes earns a special place in my heart for one reason, they make Lollipop listenable.

I'm not afraid to say (from the safety of my bedroom) that I f-ing hate the original Lollipop, it has singlehandedly made me unexcited about the release of Tha Carter III. Unoriginal use of a vocoder, 5th grade sexual innuendo, and a R&B hook all add up to a predetermined single that will be skipped by everyone except 12-yr old girls. First off, this would not be Southside Discotech if I didn't throw up the weekly Diplo post. This time is a Dylan-rated "Hot Fire" remix of Flashing Lights by Kanye West. This remix dropped about a month ago, so grab while its still fresh.

Next, its the hottest shit I've found so far this week and probably the best shit I'll hear this month. The Phantom's Revenge is a French producer that upholds his countries tradition of releasing awesome disco-house productions. You have to give Just Like Old Times a good long listen, actually, just visit his myspace and give each track a good hard listen. I fucking love the 70's samples in his tracks, they make me want to run out and buy a full polyester bodysuit and a quart of Soul Glo. I predict much love coming the way of The Phantom's Revenge in the coming months. Shouts out to DiscoDelicious for turning me on this piece of Hot Fire.
