The next mix is from DJ Mattei Saint. If you're lucky enough to be in or around the Leicester/Midlands area you must go check out his weekly event, Mind The Gap, and say what's up in person. Mattei and another lad named Moro put on Mind The Gap each week so all the cool kids have a place to get down to "cutting edge underground dance music" and consume copious amounts of alcohol. Our last mix is by DJ Weel, a reader who really takes care of my needs. After noticing my fondness of Breakbot and then empathisizing with the pain it caused me to have to remove Breakbot's latest remix from my blog, he thought, "You know what, I'm gonna make an all-Breakbot mix for SSDT. And I'm gonna do it cause I love them."

And then I was like, "Thanks dude, but don't you thing love is a strong word? How about like? Just say you like me a lot, that sounds better right?".

Then he was like,"I guess man, if you're gonna be all weird about it, I'll say like. But your posts really do give me a giant music boner."

So then I said, "I know dude, I get music boners when I find new music too. That's why I started this blog. It's a way of wacking off my music boner. I wack off my music boner each day and in the process, spread the love. Spread the love all over everyone's computer screens."

Then he was like,"That's fucking disgusting man, you totally over-extended that metaphor. Just take the mix and gtfo. GTFO!"

New Music from Breakbot, Ursula 1000, Swizz Beatz

Quick post of some hot ass music that I've been bumping in my hot ass room. It is 95F in Houston right now and, since my roommates and I are trying to be as green (aka cheap) as possible by not turning on the A/C, it is about 102F in my room.

I've long been a fan of Breakbot's funk/soul take on French electro, so whenever he releases a new remix I try to post them as soon as possible. Get his newest remix of Lion by ZZZ below.

That Yo Gabba Gabba remix I posted awhile back was pretty dope in my opinion, but not a song you could bump in your car with the windows down while coasting through da hood (my Wednesday 6:00PM to 8:00PM activity). Problem solved after downloading Sweaty Wet Cream by Ursula 1000, creator of the aformentioned YGG remix. Pick it below for your weekly trips through da hood.

Torso X is a fresh act out of the UK that has been getting some DJ love (the most special kind of love) from Punks Jump Up, Looses Cannons, and Jaymo and in the last couple of weeks. The track posted below has already been played twice by Loose Cannon and included in Jaymo's newest NLLR mix. Get it while its hot below.

The hip-hop group Vertual Vertigo, made up of the emcees Cerebral Vortex and Ezekiel 38, will be performing at the Mission Control 2 Year Anniversary Party this Friday at the Backroom. Cerebral Vortex also releases solo music and, needless to say since it is on this blog, the tracks are hot shit. Enjoy.

The California based electronic group, Wallpaper, have released this track called T Rex that perfectly describes my weekly routine. I go to school, then go to a 9-to-5 job just to make sure I get paid on the regular, and on the weekend, I go BIG. Big like a fucking dinosaur.

PNAU - Cutest Group of 2008?

From PNAU comes Baby, possibly the cutest track of 2008. This song is so precious, I'm willing to bet that Hannah Montana, Elmo, and that Black kid from High School Musical are all part of the childern's chorus. Check out the Breakbot remix here.
