Saul Mojica - Madonna Mix

I don’t post many mixes on SSDT since they usually don’t get downloaded. Usually people look over the tracklisting, see one or two songs they like, think about the long download time, and decide to look for the tracks singularly. The only exceptions to what I call the “DJ Mix Corollary” I’ve posted are the The Twelves minimix and now this new Madonna megamix from Saul Mojica.

Upon hearing the opening thirty seconds I don’t know anyone who wouldn’t download this mix. Saul Mojica has done an excellent job selecting banging instrumentals (Justice, Daft Punk, Yelle) to accompany Madonna’s vocals. Saul Mojica has also countered another one of my beliefs, that a 50 minute mix of nothing but Madonna would only be enjoyed in gay clubs (not that there is anything wrong with that). I don’t care where Saul played this mix, this shit will kill any dance floor. Big ups to Saul Mojica and everybody up in Kansas City!

Tracklisting:

  1. Holiday (Stardust - Music Sounds Better With You Original & Chateau Flight Remix)(MC Miker G & DJ Sven - Holiday Rap Acapella)
  2. Hung Up (Daft Punk - One More Time)
  3. Like a Virgin (Alan Braxe & Fred Falke - Bliss)
  4. Into The Groove (Cassius - Feeling For You Stuart Price Remix)
  5. Vogue (Phats and Smalls - Turn Around)
  6. Beautiful Stranger (Fred Falke Wait for Love)
  7. Material Girl (Chris Lake - In Your Arms Dub)
  8. Ray of Light (Jason Nevin's Its Like That)
  9. Everybody (Yelle - ACDG Tepr Remix)
  10. 4 Minutes (Remixed by Saul Mojica sampling DJ Technic's Party People)
  11. Hollywood (Axwell Let It Go)
  12. Causing a Commotion (Eric Prydz - Genesis)
  13. Jump (Justice - One Minute to Midnight)
  14. Die Another Day (Justice - Let There Be Light)
  15. Like a Prayer (Justice - Phantoms 1)

Its Okay To Bmore On Tuesday

I know I'm not the only one that wakes up on Sunday morning, slightly hung over, thinking only about what the hell I'm gonna do next weekend. Don't be ashamed, its okay to wannna get crunk 24/7. These tracks will definitely get you crunk today, but don't worry, its okay to B-more on Tuesday.

Two early hip-hop tracks turned to Bmore bangers by Goldrocc. This dude has more hot tracks his myspace, check um out here.

Goldrocc - White Lines (Bmore Mix) [YSI]
Goldrocc - The Breaks (Bmore Mix) [YSI]

*Big ups to Baltimore Club President, Steve Charing, seen here on the right.

And here is a track from Say-Wut to get you ready to GO.

Say-Wut - Go-Time Anthem [YSI]

Have you heard the word? Brand new Herve!

I always enjoy a bit of Herve, or The Count of Monte Cristal, as you may know him. All of his songs are generally pretty bangin, but admitedly can often be a bit too much of the same thing. On occasion, though, you may find yourself with a huge track on your hands, as was the case with his remix of "Ice Cream" by the New Young Pony Club, "Hijackin" by Hi Jack and of course "Licky" by Princess Superstar. Here are three of Herve's most recent productions which i'm particularly enjoying at the moment.

Roisin Murphy - Overpowered (Herve & Roisin in the secret garden mix)

Kendall Misses New Club Bangers and Hopes They Return Soon

What’s up good people of Planet Earth? I feel like I’ve fell off with the posts in the last couple of days, even though my last post was on Saturday (1 days equals 12.5 days in blog time). In the past week I, like countless other university students across America, have had to begin studying for finals. And like countless other university students across America, I have been neglecting school work ever since Spring Break. Not to mention, I’m trying to jump on the DIY, bedroom producer/remixer/DJ bandwagon, and everyone knows this takes a lot of time initially, until you become frustrated, bored and later quit, only to relive the cycle six months from now.

But, anyway, enough BS from me here is some music.

I already posted this on my old blog, but it is unlikely that many people saw it on there. Therefore I feel it necessary to post this track yet again as you would have to have very good luck to find it anywhere else. This is "Fake Blood Theme" off Fake Blood's new EP "Mars". By the way it's an absolute banger, much like everything else that Fake Blood has been producing lately.

I'm Not Drunk (Bloody Beetroots Remix)

New Bloody Beetroots remix of the Benny Benassi track I'm Not Drunk. Classic Beetroots synth, claps and bass. This track also has something I've never heard from the Beetroots before, a little early 80's hip-hop/electro thrown in, very cool mix.

Benny Benassi - I'm Not Drunk (Bloody Beetroots Remix) [YSI]

Me, not drunk, passed out in the backseat of my own car, in a pool of my own vomit. I wasn't drunk, um, I just have bladder problems.

Welcome to D-Jrad, a new contributor to SSDT. He is a cool kid from Australia that used to post hot shit on his former blog Find Voltorb, Catch Voltorb. He had so many Bloody Beetroots remixes up, I don't know how he didn't post this remix before I did. Expect some great late night posts (late night in the States) from D-Jrad in the future.

Hey Today!

If you haven't heard of Hey Today! from Germany prick up your ears, this is great stuff. Their recent EP "Walk Through", released on Kitsune early this month is an absolute stormer with remix duties undertaken by fellow German duo, Digitalism. It's the original mix, however, which really takes the cake and you'll find it very hard to get this bouncy bassline out of your head. Here is the whole EP in all its glory, along with two remixes they have done for Digitalism's "Pogo" and Moonbootica track "Der Mond".

Immuzikation: Cause Two Tracks Are Better Than One

I just received an email from Immuzikation, a man back to make mash ups respectable again. I wouldn't even call Immuzikation a "mashup" or "bootleg" artist, he is a priest uniting two tracks (or more) in holy matrimony. His track selection is also incredible, I thought my musical tastes ranged across many genres until I took a look at the list of songs he brings together. He mixes The Doors with Daft, Yelle with Weezer, Feist with Burial, and MGMT with anything. These tracks practically come blog pre-approved. Check out some of the beautiful unions below.

Warning: These tracks are not club bangers, as you can probably tell from the artists, but they are still cool. Give em a try. More club bangers later though or this wouldn't be SSDT.

Also, I'm on my lunch break so no YSI downloads for this post.

Smells of Lilac, Honey and Another B*tch's Vajayjay

School is kicking my ass this week and the beating will continue on through next week, so the number of posts might fall off for a little while. I promise tomorrow I will be back with more music but tonight I'm posting this blackdiculously retarded video for the Riskay single, Smell Yo D*ck. And yes, I can say blackdiculous because a) I made up the word and b) I am Black.

Louis La Roche - The Peach EP

I don’t know if anyone else was tricked into believing that the track Love released earlier this year was made by Thomas Bangalter (half of Daft Punk) but I was for a while. The track is that good; it has a similar sound to Bangalter’s Trax On Da Rocks Vol I and II. Turns out the song was produced by a 17-yr old kid going by the name Louis La Roche. This youngin’ is personally taking up the crusade to bring back French House and he is on a good start with the release of his EP, The Peach, available on his myspace page. If that’s not enough, he also makes electro bangers under the moniker Night Facilities. This is one talented, busy teenager.

Louis La Roche - Do You Remember? [YSI]

Louis La Roche - Peach [YSI]

Three Sassy Ladies

I’m not a fan of most traditional female artists that sing about feelings and love and other fluff. Its an old, well-drawn subject that bores me. My preference are women like Madonna, Peaches or Uffie that sing about sex, partying, and drinking the same way male R&B singers and rappers have done since the dawn of time. So, I'm dedicated this post to some sassy ladies I've downloaded today.

First track is Robot Oeuf by Uffie, another track off Ed Rec Vol III. This will have to be the last Ed Rec Vol III track I post since I’ve now posted six tracks off this album. I don’t want to get kicked off of elbo.ws again, they're the only reason I get more than 5 visitors a day. From what I’ve heard so far the album is shaping up to be a good one. There is a lot of hip-hop though for a compilation by a French electro-house record label.

Uffie - Robot Oeuf [YSI]

Madonna, The Female Pop Star, releases her new album, Hard Candy, on April 29th and the tracks have been leaking all over the internet for the last two weeks. Give It Up 2 Me produced by the Neptunes is an infectious track. I didn’t like the first 30 seconds or so but the track quickly grew on me. Could definitely use some remixes though, its kinda slow for my tastes.

Madonna - Give It Up 2 Me [YSI]

Has anyone here heard of Katy Perry? Since I try not to listen to the indie rock artists posted on the blogs I visit, I’m pretty late to this artist. Really the only reason I gave her a shot is because she is hot and you don’t see hot female indie singers too often. I guess cause they’re “intellectual” and “actually talented” or something. Brief description of her sound so you know what you're about to listen to: an American Lily Allen or maybe Feist mixed with Pink.

Katy Perry - I Kissed A Girl [YSI]

Katy Perry - UR So Gay [YSI]

By the way, I picked up the Madonna and Uffie tracks off of the excellent blog FYOF. Go check it out.

Feadz - Back It Up ft.Spank Rock / SebastiAn - Dog

*Yeah, I already used this pic once. This is a sure sign of a lazy blogger.

Fresh new shit off the previously mentioned Ed Rec Vol. III! I already posted three hot tracks off the upcoming release and here are two more for your asses. Damn, I’m excited to finally hear the Feadz/Spank Rock collabo. Feadz produces dope beats for Uffie and I loved his Happy Meal EP released earlier this year so I'm happy to hear what he does with Spank Rock. And Spank Rock is just a nasty bastard that makes every track better with every filthy word he spits. "Let me see that sweat gush from your doo-doo hole." Priceless.

Feadz - Back It Up ft. Spank Rock [YSI]

Justice did the metal-electro dance tracks last year and now SebastiAn takes it too the next level with the track Dog adding a scary guy screaming shit that,s probably not English, French or any other indentified First World language. Luckily, badass bass is a universal language that everyone can understand.

SebastiAn - Dog [YSI]

Beni Single, Marianne Faithfull & Biddu Orchestra

Before I post music, I have some good news and bad news to report. First the good news, my free fileden account has reached its download limit for the month. This is great because it means I’m actually getting more traffic on the blog and I’m a little bit closer to total global domination (First step for total global domination: Take over the interweb). Plans for total global domination aside, now it’s time for the bad news, my free fileden account has reached its download limit for the month. Yeah, fileden shows annoying ads when I’m logging in and uploading files but I think it’s the best free file-sharing website because how quickly and easily a blog visitor can download a track. So for the next 20 days I have to start using another file-sharing site, right now it looks like its gonna be YSI but this will probably change. Sorry blog roamers, but for the next 20 days it looks like you’re gonna have to suck it up and click that extra button.

I’m about to post three epic seven minute songs because I feel the songs I’ve posted lately are too short. Here is 21 minutes of music in three tracks, see if you can keep up.

This first track is a Baron von Luxxury remix of Marianne Faithfull’s Broken English. I downloaded this track from a post on discoworkout in which Baron von Luxxury damn near wrote a biography of Marianne Faithfull’s life. Go check out the site to see a real man’s post, very interesting stuff.

Marianne Faithfull - Broken English (Baron von Luxxury Light Touch Remix - 129BPM) [YSI]

The next track is by Beni Single, member of the group Riot In Belgium, not to be confused with the Roc-A-Fella rapper Beanie Sigel. This is one of my favorite songs I’ve downloaded in the last week, I listened to it yesterday four times in a row. I love the bass line, there is a perfect voice loop, and a drum pattern that incorporates hand claps. I can’t think of one bad song that uses hand claps, its impossible to make a bad song as long as you use hand claps, they rule.

Beni Single - My Love Needs You [YSI]

Curtis Vodka has a new blog called White Light Orchestra where he posts rarely heard disco tracks and remixes. I grabbed this remix of Biddu Orchestra off his first post. Check out his blog for more disco goodness.

Biddu Orchestra - Boogiethon (Curtis Vodka's White Light Orchestra Edit) [YSI]

P.S. - I'm at work on my lunch break, so no pretty picture this time.

Madonna - 4 Minutes (Dmerit Remix)

I really like the new Madonna track 4 Minutes, but being a “blogger”, of course the hard-to-find remixes are infinitely better than the original. So last Sunday, I posted the Timbaland remix and this week I’m posting this badass Dmerit remix I’ve found online. In my opinion the Dmerit remix is much better than the Timbaland remix. I guess that really isn't hard seeing how the only difference between the original and the Timbaland remix was the removal of 30 seconds and the horns. Also you gotta check out the Dmerit myspace page for a coolass PYT remix. Spectacular.

Madonna - 4 Minutes ft. Justin Timbalake (Dmerit Remix) [direct download]

Update: I found the PYT remix a couple of minutes ago. Enjoy.

Martin Solveig & SebastiAn

Martin Solveig

I posted this classic Goose remix a couple of weeks ago, but the track was in horrible 96kbit/s myspace quality. So I'm reposting it in better quality because the remix is that good and deserves another listen. I can already see the dancefloor going wild during the hook, when the beat drops and then reemerges with a force that solicits a fist pump, a smile and a jig all at once.

Martin Solveig - C'est La Vie (Goose Remix) [direct download]

Everyone in the blogosphere is posting the SebastiAn track Motor, but I don't think it deserves the attention it receives. The song annoys me. I get the fact that it's supposed to sound like a motor, but the sounds in the track are grating and completely undanceable (not a word). It sounds like something my roommate, Sebastian Passion, would make. So for your listening enjoyment, here is Army instead, a much better track off the EP (in my opinion).

SebastiAn - Army [direct download]

Warning: I was tipsy during the writing of this post, it is a Friday after all. I apologize for any spelling or grammatical mistakes contained in the above text, but if you are a regular reader of SSDT, you are probably accustomed to these types of errors.

Houston, get ready to Do It Up with DJs Boy Boy and Dayta tonight at the Jet Lounge. I've seen Boy Boy dj at BodyWerk, the monthly electro night at Boondocks, and the dude kills it each and every time. At the February BodyWerk, Boy Boy even had my non-electro friends (i.e. uncool) on the dancefloor making fools of themselves. And then there is Dayta who is always a sure bet whether he is at the Jet Lounge, Boondocks, or Speakerboxx at the Backroom. Two badass DJs, a good crowd, plus copious amounts of alcohol equals fun a’plenty. See ya tonight.

Twelves: Masters of the Remix

Yes, another post about the Brazilian duo, The Twelves. I know I’ve already posted two remixes and one 30-minute mix by the Twelves in under a month and you’re probably thinking this is becoming redundant, but they keep releasing cool remixes. The only other groups that matches their remix output are MSTRKRFT or the LA Riots. But instead of taking an indie pop song and transforming it into a dancefloor banger (I’m looking at you MSTRKRFT), Twelves remixes always seem to fit the context of the original song. There is nothing wrong with a dancefloor banger (I love ‘em), but like an Almond Joy, “Sometimes you feel like a nut, and sometimes you don’t.” So I’ll do one last Twelves mega post and I’m through. . . . . . until they release another remix.

Ed Rec Volume III

Ed Rec Vol III drops May 26th and French-electro fans everywhere rejoice (including me). MISSINGTOOF posted the album teaser mixed by Feadz 4 days ago. I was one mouse click away from posting it on the blog before I realized, in my opinion, the teaser isn't that great. The individual tracks are dope, I just don't like the mix that much (sorry Feadz). I found three of the tracks online and I'm posting them for your listening pleasure. Follow the missingtoof link if you want the teaser.

The first track is To Protect & Entertain produced by Busy P featuring Murs. In the track, it sounds like Murs has been reading his scenester manual as he calls out blogs, cobrasnake, hipsters, and raves (little late on that one Murs). Great production and Murs is hilarious.

A new Ed Rec mixtape would not be an Ed Rec mixtape without a Justice track/remix. Stress(Auto Remix) sounds like Stress if Justice performed the track at the Grammys. The big award shows always like to take a current track and let a symphony or orcharestra play some of the parts but it usually doesn't sound as good as this remix.

Over The Top is the first track I've heard from Mr Flash and from the opening guitar riff (that any hair metal fan will love) the song lives up to its name. Actually, I don't know if the title is a reference to the guitar playing of 80s hair metal bands or the 1987 Sylvester Stallone arm-wrestling movie Over The Top (yes, the one where he had to arm wrestle for custody of his kid), either way its badass.

New Dave Wrangler Remixes

Big ups to Dave Wrangler for being the first person to send an mp3 to Southside Discotech. Now, I know you all probably think I'm some kind of no-nonsense, music-loving, badass Black guy but that's only partly true. I do have a soft side and I'm not afraid to say this email made my day. Thanks a lot to Dave Wrangler (momentary cry break).

Okay I'm back. I've seen Dave Wrangler twice at Boondocks, once during the DJ Battle (Dave Wrangler vs. Kidsmith) two weeks ago and at Don't Fight It last Friday. Both times he rocked the damn place, played some hot tracks and made me want to dance uncontrollably if only it was socially acceptable. Today he sent over two hot remixes. The first is a mellow remix of Paper Planes by M.I.A. that incorporates Check the Rhime, Show Me What You Got, and some other track I can't distinguish. I don't know why, but it sounds like what M.I.A. would sound like if she was a member of the mid-90s hip-hop group Black Sheep. Cool rework, give it a listen.

Dave Wrangler - Paper Planes [direct download]

The second track is a remix of the TV On The Radio opus, Staring at the Sun, set to the classic electro-hip hop track Clear by Cybotron. Put these to masterpieces together and you have more grandiose adjectives than any one song description can handle.

BMX - WAR & To Shades - Uppercut

The talent coming out of Australia these days is extraordinary, especially considering the fact that most Americans (or just me) hear Australia and think about penal colonies, fearless white men with scruffy beards, and kangaroos. However, the Australians I'm posting about today are neither Mad nor have a name that starts with Crocodile. BMX has already released one of the most fun songs I've heard this month and with WAR they're coming back for round two. Bigstereo posted three songs from To Shades last week and I think Uppercut is the best of the three, totally boss. Give em both a listen below.

PS: Belated big ups to La Chansons for mentioning Southside Discotech on their website. Thanks alot, I really appreciate it.

Blogging on the Weekend: Madonna, The Young Punx, Kazey, Cryptonites

Damnit, its the weekend, a beautiful spring weekend in Houston, and I've spent an alarming amount of time inside working to make this blog a little better. This situation could all be solved with a laptop, then I could spent time outside working on this blog. I could blog outside on the front porch, in the neighborhood park, or outside of a Starbucks. And they say my generation doesn't know how to enjoy the outdoors.

With the release of the new remix of 4 Minutes (produced by Timbaland) by Timbaland, I'm not sure which version of the song was supposed to be released. My theory, one of the tracks has crossed from the 2nd dimension with plans to destroy the other track, then absorb the other track's awesome production and ubiquitous media hype, becoming the number 1 pop song in history. It will be interesting to see which version of 4 Minutes will prevail in this epic battle. Stay tuned.

I only wanted to post one song off the Kazey EP, Dirty Wheels, but I couldn't decide which one, so I'm posting two tracks for your listening enjoyment.

Nice Guys

I like to think of my blog as a musical farmer's market, a place to find some fresh, tasty, pesticide-free music and the new peaches arriving to market today are the Nice Guys, a hip hop group based out of Houston. I would describe their sound as a poppier Little Brother (even down to the attempt at humor), or maybe a Black Aesop Rock, or maybe Murs in a good mood, or maybe I don't know what the hell I'm talking about because the only hip-hop I listen to is MF Doom. But don't mind my inability to catagorize rap music, this group is definitely fresh.

*Guy in top left square is the Nice Guy's DJ, DJ Candlestick, top right is producer, Cristolph, bottom right is producer, Free, and bottom left is rapper, Yves ftw! Bingo!

PS. I'm not doing this post just because one of the members of the group lives with me. I'm doing this post just because one of the members of the group forced me to. . . . . . . . . All jokes aside, the Nice Guys make good music, so give the tracks a whirl and see how you like em.

Hot Pink Delorean - Hot Freak

Anyone that knows me, knows that I hate R&B like Michael hates Toby. I see no redeemable qualities and I want it out of my office, yet there is nothing I can do, corporate just keeps forcing him on me. But Hot Pink Delorean remixes some otherwise standard R&B track and its dope. So I guess the only way I Michael could learn to tolerate Toby is if Toby changed bodies with Jim. (I watch The Office too much)

More Steed Lord & Top Billin

Damn, I always thought it was frigid cold year-round in the Iceland/Norway region, but Steed Lord and Top Billin heatin' shit up for the whole damn Scandinavian region. Peep the labels for previous songs posted and definitely pick up these two tracks.

Its good to see that while Houston's time in the spotlight was short, we still got people screwin music all over the globe. Next stop Antarctica.

New Cool Kids Track: Oscar

New Cool Kids track coming off of an upcoming mixtape by DJ Benzi. This shit is most definitely better than their last new track I posted. Cool Kids back on they game, rapping about fun shit over a simple, bass-driven beat, with a badass sample. Don't get no better homie.

Cool Kids - Oscar [direct download]

Bloody Beetroots - Audioporno

Audioporno better than real porno? Ummmm, no but pretty damn close. Audioporno has popped up in different DJ sets for a while but I can't find it anywhere on the interweb. So I just ripped it off of myspace (which I just recently learned produces mp3s with horrible audio quality) and I'm putting it on here anyway. I'll replace the file with one of better quality as soon as possible. Until then, enjoy Audioporno in all its 96kbit/s glory. Holla!

Them Hot Jeans

One look at the title of this Hot Chip song and you probably wonder if Southside Discotech has a new contributor. No, its still just me, and I'm just as surprised as you. I'm not a Hot Chip fan and this is not a dance track, yet I still like this song. Its a soothing track, even though the concept of five guys singing about looking for love as a group is a little weird.

And just to make it know that Southside Discotech is still a dance music blog, here is a banging?(trying out a new adjective other than hot) track from Midfield General remixed by Them Jeans. The track is killer?(I want to say hot soooo bad) and it has "disco" in the title, so its a two-fer. Enjoy.

Word To Your Mother!

The hip-hop group Vertual Vertigo, made up of the emcees Cerebral Vortex and Ezekiel 38, will be performing at the Mission Control 2 Year Anniversary Party this Friday at the Backroom. Guest Contibutor, Dylan: "Posting Hot Fire!"

First off, this would not be Southside Discotech if I didn't throw up the weekly Diplo post. This time is a Dylan-rated "Hot Fire" remix of Flashing Lights by Kanye West. This remix dropped about a month ago, so grab while its still fresh.

Kanye West - Flashing Lights (Diplo Remix) [direct download]

Next, its the hottest shit I've found so far this week and probably the best shit I'll hear this month. The Phantom's Revenge is a French producer that upholds his countries tradition of releasing awesome disco-house productions. You have to give Just Like Old Times a good long listen, actually, just visit his myspace and give each track a good hard listen. I fucking love the 70's samples in his tracks, they make me want to run out and buy a full polyester bodysuit and a quart of Soul Glo. I predict much love coming the way of The Phantom's Revenge in the coming months. Shouts out to DiscoDelicious for turning me on this piece of Hot Fire.

The Phantom's Revenge - Just Like Old Times [direct download]

The Phantom's Revenge - The Furious Five [direct download]

Lastly, is some Hot Fire from BMX out of Australia. Theme to BMX is a fun track that will have people dancing in their rooms with the doors locked in the coming weeks. You can dance all you want readers, I won't judge you.

And remember, the Five Greatest Contributors on Southside Discotech? Dylan, Dylan, Dylan, Dylan, and Dylan!

La Chansons / Feadz / Mr. Oizo

I first heard the La Chansons track, Workout Love, a little while ago and I am surprised they haven't made more noise since that first track fit the blogosphere. I guess its a little crowded for them with groups like Glass Candy releasing similar music. They are still worth a visit to their myspace page. Judging by the titles of their tracks, this group is really enthusiastic about exercise.

La Chansons - Leotard Stories [fast download]

If anyone here has heard of the French rapper, Uffie, then you must know about Feadz, her oft-shouted out DJ. Feadz is a member of the super-cool Ed Banger record label and his Happy Meal EP came out today. Its only 5 songs long so I'm only gonna post one song.

Feadz - Numanoid [fast download]

And finally, its the Mr. Oizo remix of the new Jamie Lidell track Little Bit Of Feel Good. Don't really have much to say about this one except enjoy, its a good one. Sorry about the poor quality of the post comments, but its late and I have class in the morning (I know you're thinking, "Seemed just as shitty as ever!". Shut up, smart ass).

New MSTRKRFT - Bounce & VUVUVU

Man! I heard this track last month when MSTRKRFT played at Rich's, but at the time I didn't think nothing of it. To me it was just another assorted track placed into the mix that night. Then today, to my surprise, I check the blog RCRD LBL and learn that its a new track from MSTRKRFT featuring N.O.R.E. and Isis (Isis is half of the group Thunderheist, definitely check them out if you have the time) that's probably gonna be on their new album. Badass! Download now so you can be the first with this track (ie. coolest kid at school).

Shit, I don't know if I heard this track or not. The track really doesn't stand out in a mix much but I would download anyway. You know, so you can say, "Oh yeah, VUVUVU, I heard that track three months ago. Where have you been, Turkmenistan?!" Then watch as they scamper off, crying, holding their head in their hands.

Reenergized and Ready to Rock (RRR)

What's up people? Kinda been a slow couple of days for new electro-dance music (for me at least), I really wasn't finding nothing too interesting and I was feeling a little hesitant about posting. That is until I checked my gmail today which contained an email from Le Castle Vania himself, Dylan Eiland, thanking me for posting his remix of the Kill The Noise track, Hey You. I'm not too proud to say that the email made my day, getting any kind of recognition, let only from the artist himself, after a month and half of blogging kicks ass. So, as the title said, I'm fucking Triple R! Who wants to rock? Time to rock out with my cock out! (I swear, that is the last time I’ll ever use rock as a verb.)

Posting some Goose remixes I ran across on their myspace page. Bad ass remixes from possibly the best band named after a member of the Anatidae biological family.

Next up is a new track from fellow Texan (ie. fellow badass), Bird Peterson. I've been highly anticipating new tracks from Bird Peterson since I heard Twurk Central a month ago (damnit I know I was behind, don't rub it in). Anyway give the track a listen and you better like it! Don't Mess With Texas.

And finally, some old trax off Thomas Bangalter's Trax On Da Rocks and Trax On Da Rocks Vol. 2 released in '96 and '98. As you probably know, Thomas Bangalter is one half of the seminal French house duo, Daft Punk. Not sure if I am the only one late to the party on these two releases (I probably am), but I thought I would post a couple of trax up here for other people who might have also missed out on these albums to enjoy.
