Meterhead September Eight EP
Those L.A. lads that go by the moniker Meterhead are a hardworking bunch. In July, they released a three song EP in which each track was a hard banging electro remix of a hip hop classic. Now Meterhead is back with their September Eight EP. When you release as many EPs as these guys, you can't be expected to name each one.
Fans of their previous remix work will love the new tracks Newness and Escalator. My favorite of the three is the stadium rock remix Let It Go. Let It Go, which is reminiscent of the Crookers Thunderstruck remix or a sebastiAn rock remix, has an anxiety-inducing 80 second buildup, banging bass and the guitar work from the original track is reused beautifully. Pick up the September Eight EP below and decide which track is your favorite.
